Middletown Summer Concert Series Kicks Off Thursday
The free concert series will begin with a performance by Special Request.

The sounds of summer will be in the air this Thursday as the Summer Concert Series kicks off at the Middletown Arts Center on Church Street.
A performance by Special Request on July 11 will mark the first concert of the free annual series, with a show every other Thursday through August 22.
The concerts run from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on the MAC's northern lawn. The style of music each week will vary from Beatles classics to New Orleans blues to early rock and roll classics, according to a township bulletin.

The public may bring their own lawn chairs, blankets and refreshments and activities for children, such as spin art and cotton candy making, will be provided.
Free parking is also available onsite.

The Middletown Summer Concert Series is sponsored by the Middletown Township Cultural and Arts Council and the Middletown Recreation Department.
