Monmouth County Creative Arts Festival Is May 11 In Thompson Park

LINCROFT, NJ — The 2024 Creative Arts Festival will be from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. May 11 at Thompson Park in Lincroft (805 Newman Springs Road).

This is an arts festival hosted by the Monmouth County Parks System, and it is a celebration of the arts, featuring more than 45 specially selected artists in a variety of mediums such as pottery, painting, jewelry and more.

The event will be held on the grounds of the Creative Arts Center and two beautiful historic barns in Thompson Park. This family-friendly festival also includes live music, engaging art demonstrations and children’s art-based activities.

Outdoor musical performances include The Band of the Two Rivers, Zydeco Revelators and Chuck Lambert. Indoor performances include Musicians on a Mission, Joe Frame, Jonathan Tea and Alan Gowa.

Other demonstrations include pottery, bonsai, woodturning, and shibori indigo dying. Children are invited to contribute to the community mural and make crafts. The event will also feature three food trucks. Admission and parking for the festival are free.
