MTPD Arrest Man with Alleged Heroin Possession
An East Orange Man was arrested and charged with possession and intended distribution of 29 heroin decks.
The arrested and charged an East Orange man last week after he allegedly possessed multiple decks of heroin within 500 feet of a public facility.
Dazmeir R. Mitchell, 20, of East Orange, faces four charges after his arrest on Thursday, May 31. Mitchell is being charged with possessing heroin, distributing the substance, distributing the substance within 500 feet of a public facility, and conspiring with another actor to commit the crimes.
According to the complaint warrant, Mitchell was in possession of 29 decks of heroin when he was arrested.

Mitchell has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution on $10,000 bail.
