Obituary: Domenic James Salvatore, 59
Salvatore leaves behind three sons, one daughter, and seven grandchildren.

Domenic James Salvatore, 59, of Keansburg, died Sunday, May 27 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Salvatore was born and raised in Jersey City before moving to the Bayshore area, where he started his family with two boys, Domenic and Michael.
Enlisting in the US Army as a young father, Salvatore moved his family to Virginia where his only daughter, Christina, was born. Upon returning to the Bayshore area after years of service in the military, Salvatore prepared for his youngest son, Daniel. His friendship was held close by a group of friends who knew him as "Mousey." Salvatore enjoyed making people laugh and bringing friends and family together, especially on Sundays and Holidays. He was a hardworking man who braved the road for hours each day as a truck driver for Global Forwarding and was an active member of American Legion Post 273.
Salvatore leaves behind three sons, Domenic, Michael, and Daniel; his loving daughter, Christina; his seven smiling grandchildren; Sean, Domenic, Christopher, Carmen, Luciano, Ava and Rosabella; his four siblings, James, John, Della and Elizabeth.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 30 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the . The funeral service arrangements are pending finalization. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Middletown.
