Deadline Approaches for Piano Scholarship

Local children displaced by Superstorm Sandy are invited to apply for a piano scholarship. 

If your child has an interest in learning to play the instrument, they are asked to write a letter to Peggy Saxton, a supporter of the Middletown Arts Center, explaining why they should be awarded the scholarship. 

Letters must be delivered to the center by Friday, Dec. 20. They can be mailed to: Peggy Saxton, Middletown Arts Center, 36 Church St., Middletown, NJ 07748.

Proceeds from the Club MAC Christmas Party on Dec. 20 from 6 to 9 p.m. will benefit the scholarship.
