President Biden Expected At Murphy's Middletown Home Saturday

Biden has appeared at Murphy's home in the past for fundraisers, most recently in October 2022​.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — President Joe Biden is expected to be at the Middletown home of Gov. Phil Murphy this Saturday evening, June 29, New Jersey Globe reported.

This will be a campaign fundraiser for Biden as he prepares to face off against former President Donald Trump this November.

Murphy, his wife and children live in a home on the Navesink River in Middletown.

"Due to an anticipated Presidential visit in Middletown on Saturday, June 29th, motorists should expect delays, intermittent road closures, and temporary frozen zones (no vehicles, pedestrians, or bikes on roadway). Additional details will follow regarding the timeframe and vicinity so you can avoid the area and plan alternate routes."

There are calls on social media for a "Let's Go Brandon" protest of Murphy/Biden when Biden arrives Saturday.

Middletown Police said they were not aware of the protest until Patch showed them that flyer Wednesday.

The Monmouth County Republican Party said they are not organizing the protest, and they have no idea who the organizers are. It appears to be a grassroots protest with no official organizers.
