Resident Arrested on Drug Possession Charges after Month Long Investigation

According to the Middletown Township Police Department Kasey Krilla was arrested after a search warrant execution.

On Tuesday, June 26 the Middletown Police Detective Bureau and Quality of Life Unit arrested Kasey Krilla, 23, of Kings Highway East in Middletown, on multiple narcotics violations after police executed a search warrant at his residence.

Krilla was charged with possession of over 50 grams of marijuana, possession of over 50 grams of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a prohibited weapon, specifically a switch blade knife.

Krilla was held on $20,000.00 bail with no 10% option set by Judge Richard English of the Monmouth County Superior Court.

Police say the search warrant execution was the result of a month long investigation conducted by Detectives John Soltysik and Anthony Dellatacoma of the Quality of Life Unit into the illegal sale of Marijuana from the residence.
