School Bus and Jeep Collide Friday Morning in Middletown

Police say no children were on board at the time of the accident.

A school bus and a small SUV collided early Friday morning at the intersection of Highway 35 and Woodland Drive in Middletown just before 6 this morning, according to Detective Sgt. Steve Dollinger. 

No children were on the bus at the time of the accident. The bus driver suffered a minor wrist injury, according to Dollinger. The driver was taken to Riverview Medical Center by the Leonardo First Aid & Rescue Sqaud, according to Middletown EMS spokesman Bob Pfleger.

The Middletown Police Department, Middletown Township First Aid & Rescue Squad, Leonardo First Aid & Rescue Squad and MONOC's basic life support ambulance all responded to the accident.
