MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — After 60 days of filming in Highlands, Red Bank, Hoboken, Jersey City, and around other towns in New Jersey, a trailer has premiered for the upcoming Bob Dylan biopic starring Timothee Chalamet, "A Complete Unknown." (See the trailer below.)

The director, James Mangold, estimates the film could premiere as early as December.

From April through June, the cast — also including Edward Norton and Elle Fanning — filmed outdoors in New Jersey, drawing crowds.

The movie follows four years in the folk singer's life, from moving to the West Village to play music, to getting discovered.

This past spring, the crew changed city blocks in Hoboken and Jersey City to look like the early 1960s West Village, bringing in vintage cars and signs from the era.

Right now, the film is likely being edited — and since 60 days is lengthy for a film shoot, it's likely to be on the long side.

Director James Mangold, who also directed the film "Walk the Line" about Johnny Cash, gave an interview to Rolling Stone Magazine this week, saying, "When I say it's a strong ensemble piece, it's certainly following Bob, but I'm much more interested in the wake that this person has left on others."
