St Mary Elementary School Launches Middle School Football Program

Saints football will come to St Mary Elementary School this fall.

Students in sixth through eighth grade at (SMS) will be eligible to play on the fall 2012 middle school football team.

As one of the largest preK-8 Catholic school in the Diocese of Trenton, SMS continues to add new programs. SMS began adding more programs in 2009 with the start of a one-on-one music instruction program, and in 2010 implemented a tablet PC program for the eighth grade. In 2011, SMS began the Center for Achievement, a program that provides support and educational strategies to the diverse community of learners who attend the Saint Mary Campus Schools. And in addition, SMS begins its interactive iPad program for the primary grades this fall, 2012.

“We are proud of our longstanding tradition in athletics and are very enthused about how many students are set to participate in our football and cheer programs,” said Charles Kroekel, Principal of St Mary Elementary School. “Creating opportunities for students to grow is a major part of our calling. We look forward to the fall season when soccer, football, cheering, and cross country are all happening. It is an exciting time of growth and a great day to be a Saint.”
