Thursday: Middletown Home Rehabilitation Program Information Session
The program is for non-Sandy related projects.

Middletown residents may be eligible for up to $25,000 in grants or loans to rehabilitate their homes through the township's Home Rehabilitation Program.
The purpose of the program, funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, is for low and moderate income households to be able to repair or replace essential home systems such as the plumbing, heating, roof or electric, according to the township website.
Staff with the Community Development Department will host an information session about the program from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Middletown Library at 55 New Monmouth Road. Applications will be available at the meeting.
This is not a Sandy-related project and at this time the funds cannot be combined with those received for repairs made necessary by the Hurricane, according to the website.
Those unable to attend can also call the Middletown Township Home Rehab Program at 732-615-2281 for more information.
