Township Honors Longtime Public Works Employee
Kenneth Winters gave more than 26 years of service to Middletown

A retiring Middletown roads inspector recently was honored by the Township Committee for his more than two decades of service.
Kenneth Winters spent 26 years working for Middletown’s Department of Public Works. Committee members took a few minutes during their regular meeting last week to honor the outgoing employee.
“From all accounts you’re a stellar representative of the township,” said Mayor Gerard Scharfenberger. “You represent the township well.”

Winters, who was called a “dedicated” employee, was presented with a certificate of appreciation by the Township Committee.
“Thank you for your commitment to the township and the residents of the community,” it reads in part.
