Village School 'Avengers' Combat Bullying
Students, staff and parents participated in the week-long awareness program

Middletown Village Elementary School students, staff and parents recently wore homemade superhero capes in an effort to raise awareness of school bullying.
"By identifying themselves as a superhero the students learned that they have the power to stop bullying and intimidation," said Principal Karen Zupancic, whose superhero persona was Griffin Girl.
