The workshops will introduce the fun and easy concept of 'zines: Handwritten, drawn or collaged self-published works of any length that share a creator’s knowledge, experiences or opinions on a variety of topics. Participants will learn about 'zines, read a few, and try their hand at creating one or two — no artistic skill required. All supplies will be provided.
Also, the Middletown Library's new History Room is coming soon. This space will be home to the library’s local history books and displays and will offer research assistance, classes and speakers on historical topics. Additional information and an opening date will be shared in coming months.
