3 Men In Porsche Break Into Millburn Home And Steal BMW
In a growing trend in Essex County, 3 men stole car keys from a home, then left with a BMW. The men arrived in a white Porsche, police said.
MILLBURN, NJ — Three people arrived in a Porsche at a Millburn home late last month and made off with a BMW, police said.
The Millburn police said that on May 23, at 8:30 p.m., Officer Lyons responded to a Deerfield Road residence on a report of a burglary to the residence.
The resident said that video showed at 7:27 p.m., three people arrived in a white Porsche.

One of them entered a home through an unlocked side door.
The person stole two wallets and the keys to a BMW X5 that was parked in the driveway, police said. He then left the home and met up with the other two people, who then stole the parked BMW.

The incident was apparently part of a growing trend in which thieves trespass into a home, steal the car keys, and then steal the car. Many of the stolen vehicles have been BMW's.
