7 Millburn Kids To Appear In 'Charlie Brown' Musical Friday And Saturday

MILLBURN, NJ — Front & Center for Performing Arts is presenting three performances of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown" through Saturday, starring local kids throughout the area.

The show features a cast including 18 kids from Springfield, seven kids from Millburn/Short Hills, and others from Berkeley Heights, Cranford, Garwood, Summit, and Union.

It's directed by Julie Celeste-Lira, with musical advisors Wayne Hu and Jeff Ostermueller.

The school says, "Join Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the rest of the Peanuts gang as they sing and dance their way into your hearts in a musical production ... Audience members of all ages will delight in seeing Charles Schulz’s beloved Peanuts comic strip come to life on stage. So be sure to bring the whole family to see this memorable musical production!"

Front & Center Creative Director Celeste-Lira said, “Charles M. Schulz once said, ‘All children are peanuts. They’re delightful, funny, irresistible, and wonderfully unpredictable.’ He was absolutely right. I am so excited for the audience both new to Charlie Brown and his friends."
