Bridge At Millburn/Springfield Line Closed, Being Replaced
The bridge on Old Short Hills Road was to be closed starting Friday to both vehicle and foot traffic.
MILLBURN, NJ — The bridge on Short Hills Avenue at the Millburn/Springfield Township line is scheduled to be closed for construction beginning on July 16, the township of Millburn announced last week.
This project being done by Union County will completely replace the existing bridge with a new bridge.
The bridge will be closed to all traffic, including pedestrian foot traffic. Concrete barriers will be placed across the roadway at both ends of the structure to prevent errant vehicles from entering the work area.
