Details Of Services For Millburn School Employee Cindy Todd Released

After a beloved Millburn school employee died last Sunday, friends remembered her, and the district has released details of her services.

MILLBURN, NJ — Services will be held this Friday and Saturday for Cindy Todd, a beloved administrator in the office of Washington School in Millburn, school officials said.

Counselors were made available in the schools on Monday after Todd — who's also the mother of a district teacher — passed away suddenly last weekend.

Todd, 67, was a Millburn resident and had worked in the district for 20 years.

On a tribute page this week, friends shared memories:

"Cindy was the first person I met at Wyoming School when I started nine years ago," wrote Katie Salnick. "She was always smiling and came to the rescue for so many things in the office. When she moved to Washington School, I taught there as well. I loved our daily chats as I walked into the building every morning. Cindy truly was special."

Theresa Del Vecchio wrote, "I met Cindy many years ago at Wyoming School. At that time, I was a new teacher. She was assigned to help out in my classroom. At that point, I would normally feel nervous about having someone in my class. However, that was not the case with Cindy. She immediately made me feel at ease and it was evident that she was the kindest and most nonjudgmental person you could ever meet."

Details of the upcoming service are here.
