Train Service Suspended Between Millburn And Summit Due To Downed Tree
Buses are being provided at Summit and Maplewood stations, NJ Transit said. Officials gave an estimate for the work.

NORTH JERSEY — Rail service was suspended in both directions between Summit and Millburn on Friday afternoon, as well as on the Gladstone Line, due to a fallen tree near the Short Hills train station, NJ Transit said around 3 p.m.
"NJ Transit and JCP&L are currently working on scene with an anticipated time frame of 4-6 hours," said Millburn town officials, "with the possibility of work continuing into the evening."
NJ Transit said substitute bus service is being provided between Maplewood and Summit stations.

The tree is down near 84 Great Oak Drive, officials said, and affects train tracks and power lines.
