MILLBURN, NJ — Are you ready to enjoy a little teen drama with music and humor?

Millburn High School's Limelight Players have been rehearsing for this year's spring production: "The Prom," a local production of the 2018 Broadway musical.

In the musical, four Broadway stars are lamenting their bygone days when they hear about a controversy over a small-town girl who wants to bring her girlfriend to the school prom.

"They know that it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue," the school says. "On a mission to transform lives, Broadway’s brassiest join forces with a courageous girl and the town’s citizens and the result is love that brings them all together."

When on Broadway, the Prom won a Drama Desk Award for Best Musical.

Performances are this Friday, March 10 at 7:30, Saturday, March 11 at 7:30, and Sunday, March 12 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at mhsnj.booktix.com.
