Which Bands Are Playing Live In Millburn This Weekend?
Here's where to find live music in Millburn's business district this weekend, including the "3 Mile Island Band."
MILLBURN, NJ — The new group Explore Millburn-Short Hills, which just celebrated its one-year anniversary, continues to update its summer music schedule on the website.
This weekend's live music will be:
- Friday, Aug. 13, 7-10 p.m.: “Los Traficantes del Amor” at the Main Street closure
- Saturday, Aug. 14, 7-10 p.m.: "3 Mile Island Band" at the Main Street Closure
Next Friday, the Patrick Gannon Quartet will play at the Main Street Closure from 7-10 p.m.

Explore noted, "Please note that location and times are subject to change based on site availability and the weather. Keep an eye on Facebook and Instagram for the latest information!"
The group has placed “Games on Main” for the public to use, including giant Connect 4 and ladder toss.

Get A Grant
Explore has launched a grant program to help businesses in the Special Improvement District improve their storefronts. Non-repayable grants up to $1,000 are available for cleaning projects, plantings, street furniture and parklet installations.
Visit www.exploremillburnshorthills.org/explore-refresh-grant/ for the application. The application period is open until Sept. 3.
Explore describes itself as "The non-profit organization established to support and promote the businesses throughout the five areas of the Special Improvement District that was established in 2020."
