IKEA & NY Waterway Expand IKEA Brooklyn Summer Ferry Service

Additional weekday evening departure from Brooklyn and $5 Monday and Friday fare for IKEA shoppers

NY Waterway will add additional ferry summertime service for IKEA Brooklyn customers beginning Saturday, July 6 and ending Sunday, September 1. The expanded service includes an added later evening return to Midtown/Pier 79 from IKEA Brooklyn at Erie Basin in Red Hook.

NY Waterway will also offer a Monday and Friday $5 fare (one-way) for IKEA Brooklyn riders, exclusively on the NY Waterway app, starting Friday, July 5 through Monday, September 2. Ferry riders can show their IKEA sales receipt for a free return.

o Ferries will depart from Midtown/Pier 79 every 90 minutes between 10:30am and 4:30pm, making stops at Pier 11/Wall Street and IKEA Brooklyn.

o Ferries will depart from Pier 11/Wall Street every 90 minutes between 11:00am and 5:00pm to IKEA Brooklyn.

o Ferries will depart from IKEA Brooklyn every 90 minutes between 11:20am and 6:25pm, making stops at Pier 11/Wall Street and Midtown/W39th Street.

· $5 (One Way) IKEA Brooklyn Summer Monday and Friday Ferry Service will begin Friday, July 5 and ending Monday, September 2. This offer is available exclusively through the NY Waterway App. Riders can show their IKEA sales receipt for a free return.
