Millburn 2024 Election: See Latest Campaign Finance Totals
Candidates in Millburn have raised a combined $26,623 in contributions for the 2024 general election. Here's the breakdown.
MILLBURN, NJ — Candidates in the Millburn town committee and school board races have raised a combined $26,623 in political contributions for the 2024 general election, according to the latest state campaign finance reports.
There are two candidates competing for a spot on the Millburn Township Committee in the Nov. 5 election: David R. Cosgrove (Democrat) and Alexander Zaltsman (Republican).
Meanwhile, four candidates are competing for three open seats on the Millburn Board of Education: Brian G. Lawrence, Noel Bigman, Christian P. Germa, and Asaf Farashuddin. A fifth candidate, Howard Wachtel, has since withdrawn from the race.

According to the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC), candidate finance report deadlines fall on Oct. 7, Oct. 25 and Nov. 25 this year. Any contribution received in excess of $200 in the aggregate from one source and any amount of cash is required to be reported in detail.

MILLBURN TOWN COMMITTEE
The two candidates for town committee reported the following contributions for the general election:
- Alexander Zaltsman - $13,150
- David Cosgrove - $10,683
The candidates previously reported the following contributions for the primary election that was held in June:
- David Cosgrove - $2,050
- Alexander Zaltsman - $500
MILLBURN BOARD OF EDUCATION
- Asaf Farashuddin - $1,500
- Noel Bigman - $1,290
- Brian Lawrence - N/A
- Christian Germa - N/A
