Millburn Fifth Graders Study Oceanography at Sandy Hook

On Oct. 6, South Mountain School fifth graders visited Sandy Hook for a day of hands on activities to add to their oceanography studies.

South Mountain School’s fifth grade classes had “a whale of a time” during their field trip to Sandy Hook, New Jersey on Oct. 6.

By going on this trip, the fifth graders had the opportunity to make their learning come alive while smelling the ocean air and engaging in hands-on educational activities.

The South Mountain School students have been studying oceanography since the beginning of the school year.
