Millburn High School To Present 2017 Pops Concert
Millburn HS will present the annual Pops Concert on Mar. 23 that will be free and open to the public.
From The Millburn High School: The Music Department of Millburn High School will present the school's annual Pops Concert on Thursday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m.in the high school auditorium. This concert is free and open to the public and the MHS Music Boosters will serve light refreshments in the lobby.
The concert will feature the Thursday Jazz Band, Wednesday Jazz Band, Pops Strings, and Chorale. Selections will include music by Duke Ellington, Thad Jones, Leonard Cohen, The Beatles, Henry Mancini, Dizzy Gillespie, Earl Scruggs, Thelonious Monk and much more.
Professionally recorded compact discs of the winter concerts will be available for purchase and preorders will be accepted for the upcoming Night of Jazz and spring concerts. Music Booster memberships and donations will also be accepted and all families are encouraged to join.
