Millburn Opens Pool To All Residents As Heat Index May Climb To 101

Millburn has opened its pool to all residents starting Saturday, whether members or not, due to the heat. See the forecast below.

MILLBURN, NJ — As the National Weather Service's heat advisory for Essex County is still in effect through Sunday (see forecast below) — Millburn announced that the Municipal Pool will be open starting Saturday for all residents.

The town said, "Due to the forecast for excessive heat this weekend, the Millburn Municipal Pool in Gero Park will be open to all Residents of Millburn-Short Hills on Saturday July 23 and Sunday July 24. Pool hours are 11 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Residents will be required to provide a driver’s license or utility bill as proof of residence in order to enter the facility.

Current pool members are still encouraged to bring their ID badges for quicker entry.

We encourage people to bring their own chairs and water bottles. No food is allowed to be eaten inside the pool gate, you may purchase/eat food in the designated snack area next to the snack bar.
