Millburn Police Make Arrest In String Of Vehicle Burglaries

MILLBURN, NJ — Millburn police have made an arrest in connection with a series of vehicle burglaries that took place in the township, authorities say.

The Millburn Police Department released the following statement about the arrest:

“On May 13, after a comprehensive investigation conducted by [detectives with the] Millburn Police Department, an arrest has been made in connection with a series of motor vehicle burglaries that occurred earlier this year. On Jan. 27 and Feb. 18, multiple vehicle burglaries were reported in the areas of Dryden Terrace, Spenser Drive, Pine Street and Cypress Street in Millburn. The detectives were able to identify the suspect responsible for these incidents. Today, Jhalil Snowden-Rush, 34, of Newark, was taken into custody without incident in Newark.”

“In addition to resolving the Millburn cases, the investigation led by Dets. Wichelns and Herrera has also helped solve multiple related burglary cases in surrounding jurisdictions, providing critical leads to neighboring law enforcement agencies,” the Millburn Police Department stated.
