Millburn Public Schools To Have Delayed Opening, Consider Closing Due To Storm

MILLBURN, NJ — Across the country, from Florida through Bergen County, school districts have canceled classes or closed aftercare due to a massive storm system approaching the Northeast — and Millburn has announced some cancelations as well.
The Millburn schools canceled aftercare Tuesday and said they'd have a delayed opening Wednesday. If they close, it will be announced here.
At least four other North Jersey towns near rivers had early dismissals Tuesday, due to flooding concerns.

As Patch noted over the weekend, a storm system may bring up to 2.5 inches of rain to North Jersey overnight, with potentially high winds.
