Millburn School Custodian Is A Sweeping Success, Named Award Finalist

A staff member at a school in Short Hills has a chance to win a nod as "Custodian of the Year." Here's how you can push him to the top.

MILLBURN, NJ — A staff member in the Millburn Public School District has a chance to win a nod as “Custodian of the Year,” and local residents can help push him to the top of the list.

According to district administrators, Dan Davis – the head custodian at Deerfield Elementary School in Short Hills – is a finalist in the “Custodian of the Year” contest sponsored by Cintas Corporation. This is the 12th year that Cintas has held a contest to honor exceptional school custodians.

Davis is one of 10 finalists from around the country this year and the only one from New Jersey.

Voting will be open until April 11, and can be done online here.
