Early Dismissal For Millburn Schools Friday Due To Weather
Millburn Superintendent Christine Burton said the potential for "icy" weather will cause a shorter school day.
MILLBURN, NJ — Millburn's schools will close early Friday due to the potential for icy weather on the commute home. All of Essex County is now under a winter weather advisory from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., the National Weather Service said.
The various schools and toddler programs will have different closing times.

Several other Essex County districts also announced that they will close early, including Livingston and South Orange-Maplewood.
The NWS advised that commuting on Friday could be slippery, as rain and possible freezing rain overnight on Thursday may continue into Friday afternoon.
