Millburn/Short Hills Teen Commits To Play Basketball At Cornell
"I felt Cornell was the best balance of academics and athletics," said Ian, a Millburn resident.
MILLBURN, NJ — Ian Imegwu, who grew up in Millburn and attends Blair Academy in Blairstown, NJ, recently committed to play basketball at Cornell University next year.
"I committed to Cornell University in September after developing a close relationship with the coaching staff and taking a visit to the school," he said last week. "My family has always emphasized the importance of education and this weighed into my decision."
Cornell is a competitive Ivy League school in Ithaca, N.Y.
