More Than 20 Free Activities Planned For Free Millburn Founders Day Celebration Saturday

Games, prizes, historical lectures, crafts, and many other events have been added to the upcoming free celebration of Millburn's founding.

MILLBURN, NJ — You can sing "Happy Birthday" to a 200-year-old elm tree at Taylor Park while noshing on free cookies — or ask questions about Millburn's history. Or just admire the works of local artists.

The free Millburn Township Founding Day Celebration is only a few days away, and organizers are excited to announce more than 20 events, some unique.

The day of events will take place Saturday, April 22, with community service events, an art festival, live music, educational presentations, historical games, and more.

The day will start with a community litter cleanup from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Then, a slew of events will be held, with art classes, historical re-enactments, games, demonstrations, and more.

Explore Millburn "encourages all participants to tour the town, shop local and make a day of it to celebrate the great history —and current success — of Millburn-Short Hills" says the latest update from the organizers.
