New Emergency Pet Vet Is Coming To Short Hills, Will Be Open 24/7

MILLBURN-SHORT HILLS, NJ — An emergency veterinarian service that operates “24/7” will be launching a new location in North Jersey this August.

VEG ER for Pets is opening a new location at 720 Morris Turnpike in Short Hills. An open house will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 18. A ribbon cutting event is scheduled on opening day at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 19.

Available services at the Short Hills location will include surgeries, ultrasounds, x-rays and medical procedures for dogs, cats, rabbits, avians, reptiles and other exotic animals.

Pet parents are allowed to stay with their pet through all stages of treatment – including surgery and overnight hospitalization.

The Short Hills location will be VEG ER’s fourth in New Jersey, in addition to Clifton, Hoboken and Paramus.
