Pet Owners Are Warned: Don't Bring Your Pooch To These Millburn Parks
Parade your Pomeranian elsewhere. Two Millburn parks prohibit dogs, the township reminded residents recently.
MILLBURN, NJ — You'll have to parade your Pomeranian, walk your Whippet, and curb your Corgi somewhere else. The town of Millburn recently reminded residents in a message that while they can bring their pooches to Taylor Park on Main Street, two other Millburn parks prohibit dogs.
And even at Taylor Park, owners must follow certain restrictions: Dogs must be leashed, held by people 13 or over, and there's a maximum of two dogs per person.
Dogs are not allowed in Gero Park or Short Hills Park.

Millburn isn't the only town cracking down. Recently, Montclair officials publicly reminded pet owners to keep their pooches on leashes.
Dogs may not be off-leash in Essex County parks, by the way.
