Preserving Your Family's Treasures at Millburn Library
Learn how to preserve your family's precious heirlooms on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 12:00 at the Millburn Library.

Wondering how to properly store and protect your precious keepsakes? On Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at noon, Michael Banick, director of the Millburn Free Public Library, will present the best ways to preserve your family treasures. Attendees will learn the best ways to preserve their old photos, letters, scrapbooks, and other items. They will also learn how and why to use archival quality materials.
Before becoming the director of the Millburn Free Public Library, Mr. Banick obtained a certificate in preservation management, has a background in special collections, and has worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art book conservation department, as well as Morristown National Historical Park. He was also the coordinator of Archives and Special Collections at Monmouth University.
