Road Closures And Detours Announced For Millburn This Week
See the list of closures and detours in Millburn for road and water main work this week.
MILLBURN, NJ — The township of Millburn has released its list of roads that will be closed or party closed this week for paving, water repairs, or other matters.
For Dec. 12-16, they are:
- Millburn Avenue between Farley Place and Route 124 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. will have an alternate traffic pattern each day, but there's also the potential for full closure.
- Whittingham Terrace Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. New Jersey American Water recently began undertaking two water main replacement projects: on Whittingham Terrace and on Myrtle Avenue. This week, the Whittingham Terrace project, which began in late November, continues. Standard work hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The project is expected to take about a month.
