Road In Millburn To Close For Lunar New Year Festival, Free Parking Offered
A road will be closed in Millburn all day Saturday for the Lunar New Year Festival, but free parking will be offered nearby.
MILLBURN, NJ — Millburn Avenue will be closed from Spring Street to Main Street for a portion of Saturday for the Lunar New Year Festival taking place in Millburn. READ MORE: Year Of The Tiger: Millburn To Hold Lunar New Year Festival.
The closure will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Town Hall Plaza will also be closed.

Detour routes will be posted. "Please use caution when driving in Downtown Millburn on March 5," officials said.
Shopper parking lots and spots will be free of charge all day on March 5. Time limits still apply.

Municipal Lots #5 and #6 will be closed during the event. Lots #1, #19 and the parking deck will be open. Lot #4 can be accessed from Taylor Street during the event. See updates here.
More About The Festival
The Millburn/Short Hills Chinese Association and the Millburn Institute of Talent are hosting the festival, open to the public. It's in honor of the Lunar New Year, Year of the Tiger.
The festival runs from 12 to 3 p.m. and will have food, performances, a Chinese calligraphy demonstration, children's games, and more.
The rain date is the following Saturday, March 12.
