'Santa’s Flight Academy' Returns To Mall At Short Hills: 2025 Holiday Events

SHORT HILLS, NJ — The Mall at Short Hills recently announced its 2025 holiday events calendar, including its annual Christmas-themed Santa’s Flight Academy.

“Bringing back beloved holiday events and creating a truly magical experience for our visitors is the highlight of the year,” marketing and sponsorship manager Leslie Trifone said.

“We’re thrilled to welcome shoppers to experience the joy and excitement of another festive season filled with unforgettable events, cherished traditions, and the perfect gifts for everyone on their list,” Trifone said.

The Mall at Short Hills’ holiday lineup includes:

Santa’s Flight Academy

From Thursday, November 6 to Wednesday, December 24, families can make their reservation now to meet Santa for their picture-perfect moment. After, take off on an interactive adventure at Santa's Flight Academy, complete with his 22-foot-tall sleigh and magical snowfall dance party inside. While reservations are recommended, walk up Santa photo appointments are also available on a first come first serve basis.

This larger-than-life reimagination of Santa’s sleigh provides interactive fun that lets children help prepare Santa for his journey around the world. Santa’s hours vary daily and can be found online along with reservations.

Sounds of the Season

Deck the halls with the festive Sounds of the Season! Customers will enjoy live performances of favorite holiday songs, from marching soldiers and strolling carolers to modern holiday hits. All performances are from 1 to 4 p.m. strolling throughout the shopping center.

Santa Cares

Sunday, December 7 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Pre-registration is required

Individuals and their families are invited to a special sensory-friendly Santa experience at Santa's Flight Academy in Grand Court on Sunday, December 7 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. At this private photo session, extra care is taken to support the sensory, physical, and other developmental needs to make this a magical holiday experience. Lights, music and other sounds will be turned down to help create a calming environment.

Mall at Short Hills’ Store Events
