These 2 Millburn Billionaires Are Listed Among World's Richest: Forbes
There are only 6 billionaires in New Jersey on the new Forbes list of the world's richest, and 2 of them live in Millburn.

MILLBURN, NJ — The world’s billionaires — a group that includes six New Jersey residents — aren’t as flush as they were a year ago, but collectively are still worth $12.2 trillion, Forbes said with the release of its annual list.
That’s down from $12.7 trillion last year.
Nearly half of the list is less wealthy than a year ago, including Elon Musk, who lost his No.1 spot after shares in Tesla fell when he bought Twitter.

Twenty-eight people fell off the list altogether, with the number of people with 10-figture fortunes now at 2,640. Still, the United States has the most billionaires of any country — 735 people collectively worth $4.5 trillion.

Forbes attributed the loss of wealth to falling stock markets, especially in the technology sector, and rising interest rates.
To calculate net worth, Forbes used stock prices and exchange rates from March 10 to determine the ranking, but updates wealth in real time.
Two of the billionaires live in Millburn, one specifically cited as living in the Short Hills section of town.
The two are:
- John Overdeck (Two Sigma/hedge funds), 53, of Millburn, ranked at 386th wealthiest in the world, up slightly from 404. His estimated worth is $6.529B.
- Peter Kellogg (investments), 80, of Short Hills, ranked at 822nd wealthiest, up slightly from 831. His estimated worth is $3.654B.
The outlet gave them philanthropy scores; Overdeck scored a 2 and Kellogg, a 3. Details of donations can be found by clicking the links to their profiles, above.
The outlet lists Overdeck as "self-made," while Kellogg inherited and then grew his wealth.
Other 4 New Jersey Billionares
The other New Jersey billionaires on the list are Rocco Commissio of Saddle River (telecom), Larry Robbins of Alpine (hedge funds), Duncan MacMillan of Princeton (Bloomberg LP), and Michael Prince of Far Hills (investments).
With Musk’s slip from the No. 1 position, Bernard Arnault, who heads luxury goods giant LVMH, tops the list as the richest person in the world. It’s the first time a citizen of France has led the ranking, whose top 10 includes seven U.S. billionaires. - Jeff Bezos, Amazon, worth $126.9 billion;
