ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Police officers from Millburn, Maplewood and Union recently arrested a man after catching him driving a van stolen out of Newark, authorities reported Tuesday.

A Millburn police sergeant spotted the stolen vehicle – a 2023 GMC Savana – on Millburn Avenue near Vauxhall Road on Dec. 7.

“Millburn officers, along with Union and Maplewood officers, were able to detain the driver in the Millburn Mall parking lot in Union. Donald Hill, 52, of Maplewood, was placed under arrest and charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle.”
