2 Cars Stolen In Montclair Last Week, Police Say (Here’s Where)

One of the cars had some Christmas presents inside, Montclair police said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Two cars were stolen in Montclair last week, authorities reported Tuesday.

The Montclair Police Department released the following details about each theft:

Dec. 9 (Portland Place) – “The victim reported that she parked her 2026 Range Rover on Portland Place and walked to Midland Avenue to get her hair done. When she returned two hours later, she discovered her vehicle was gone. The vehicle contained her key fob and some Christmas presents. It was recovered the following day in Newark.”

Dec. 13 (Elm Street) – “A 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen from the rear of an apartment complex on Elm Street. Shattered glass was observed on the ground where the vehicle had been parked.”
