$5K In Film Equipment Stolen After Shoot In Montclair, Police Say

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Someone stole nearly $5,000 worth of filming equipment after a shoot on Valley Road in Montclair last week, authorities say.

According to the Montclair Police Department, a production supervisor for a film company reported the theft on Thursday.

The theft was discovered after crews did a post-production inventory check. A total of 17 items – valued at a combined $4,971 – were missing, police said.
