The Drums of Thunder, based at the Hillside Elementary School in Montclair, brought a crowd of over 5,000 to its feet at the 34th annual NJ State North-South All-Star Football Classic at Kean University in Union on Monday night, June 25.

The Drums of Thunder, a well-known performing group which is now in its third decade of existence, is made up of 34 fourth- and fifth-graders from Hillside and is directed by Louis D'Amico, who began the tradition of drumming groups at the school in 1972. This marks the second straight year in which the Thunder culminated its season by performing at the North-South Classic.

Well done Drums of Thunder!
