Annual Herb & Heirloom Tomato Sale Returns To Montclair

The "Montclair tradition" dates back 45 years, organizers said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — The following news release comes courtesy of the Montclair History Center. Find out how to post announcements or events to your local Patch site.

Join us for a Montclair tradition — the annual herb and heirloom tomato sale — dating back more than 45 years. Shop unique herbs, heirloom tomato varieties, a selection of native plants, and container gardens that you won’t find at your local garden center or big box store. All proceeds support our mission in preserving and sharing the stories of Montclair’s rich history.

The sale takes place behind the Crane House and Historic YWCA, 110 Orange Road, Montclair, NJ on Thursday, May 2nd from 9 am to 8 pm; Friday; May 3rd from 9 am to 5 pm; Saturday, May 4th from 9 am to 3 pm or until we sell out.

Shoppers may also pre-order their herbs and heirloom tomatoes. Pre-ordering your favorite plants means we put them aside for you before the sale opens to the public! Pre-orders are being accepted online through April 10th here: www.montclairhistory.org/herb-sale-2024
