Eligible individuals, including those who live outside Montclair, can now apply in-person for a passport at the Montclair Public Library. This new service will primarily help individuals who have never held a U.S. passport, as well as children under age 16 seeking to renew a U.S. passport. Individuals who are eligible to renew by mail directly with the U.S. Department of State can get their photos taken in the library, but must still mail their application themselves.

Passport services are available starting Jan. 14 at the Main Library and starting Jan. 27 at Bellevue Avenue Branch.
