MONTCLAIR, NJ — A British-style Indian restaurant is closing its Montclair location next week: Brick Lane Curry House.
The restaurant shared the following announcement about their upcoming closure on Monday:
“Fifteen years ago, we opened the doors of the Brick Lane Curry House in Montclair with a simple dream: to share our passion for delicious Indian cuisine with our community. Over the years, we hope our little curry house has become a beloved spot, serving our British-style curry to so many wonderful people.

“Throughout those years, you—our loyal customers and cherished friends—have stood by us through every challenge and celebration. Your unwavering support has meant the world to us, which makes this announcement all the more difficult to share.
“With heavy hearts but treasured memories, we've made the decision to close the Brick Lane Curry House after 15 wonderful years.

“Our last day for serving food will be July 21, 2024
“This journey has been magical - we've forged lifelong friendships, been part of your special moments, and hopefully added a dash of spice and warmth to the vibrant tapestry of Montclair and words cannot express our gratitude to everyone in Montclair and the surrounding areas. Your appreciation for our food have been the greatest rewards we could have asked for.
“We'd love to hear your favorite Brick Lane memories—please share them with us here. They will forever be a part of our story. And if you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out.
“While this chapter is coming to a close, our love for food and Montclair remains strong. So, keep an eye out—there might be a new adventure on the horizon for us soon.
