Burglar Makes Off With $20K in Jewelry, Electronics

Montclair resident reported burglary Saturday night.

A burglar got away with more than $20,000 worth of jewelry and electronics from a Montclair home Saturday, according to Montclair Police.

A resident of South Fullerton Avenue told police someone broke into their home some time between 6:30 and 11:24 p.m. on May 4.

The burglar allegedly forced open a rear door to enter the house, police said.

The homeowner reported missing more than $12,000 worth of jewelry and an additional $8,300 worth of electronics.
