Celebrate Fourth of July, Summertime All Week in Montclair

A free movie, live music, fireworks and more.

Dinosaurs Rock, a fossil and mineral educational events company, brings its one-of a-kind show to the Montclair Public Library, 50 South Fullerton Ave., on Tuesday at noon.

Applegate Farm
, 616 Grove St., will host a Family Fun Night on Wednesday with a free screening of The Amazing Spider Man. DJ, games, prizes and other entertainment start at 6 p.m. Movie starts at 8 p.m.

Don't miss Montclair's 63rd annual Independence Day Parade on Thursday, stepping off at 11 a.m. on Bloomfield Avenue heading to Midland, Watchung and Valley Road and culminating in Edgemont Park with a family picnic and festival hosted by the Montclair Arts Council. 

On Thursday night, fireworks will be held at Yogi Berra Stadium on the campus of Montclair State University. Gates open at 7 p.m. There will be free parking at the Carparc Diem deck, adjacent to Floyd Hall Arena. 

Township offices will be closed on Thursday in observance of the Fourth of July.
