Cops Search For Man In Cowboy Hat After Fight Breaks Out At Montclair Music Venue

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A fight broke out at a local music venue in Montclair earlier this week, authorities reported Tuesday.

The Montclair Police Department released the following details about the incident, which took place Monday on Park Street:

“Officers responded to The Meat Locker on a report of a physical altercation. A preliminary investigation indicated that a dispute began inside of the venue and resulted in a physical altercation on the street. During the incident, one male received a laceration above his left eye. He was transported to Mountainside Hospital for treatment.”

The suspect that allegedly caused the laceration fled the scene. He was described as a male with blonde hair who was wearing a cowboy hat, police said.
