First Day Of Fall In Montclair: What Will The Weather Be Like?

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Get ready to say goodbye to the summer and hello the fall, Montclair.

The first day of autumn 2024 will officially arrive when the equinox begins at 8:44 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22. This is the moment when the sun crosses the equator and people living in the northern hemisphere – including Montclair, New Jersey – will begin to see more darkness than daylight.

There may be a slight chance of rain showers in Montclair on Friday as the summer draws to a close.
